I have personally used Swish Video 2 in the past. Its very simple to use and has lots of options. You can also add your logos/watermark to the videos.

I need to add video to a website and playable without having to download the entire video. I know nothing about adding video so i am looking for a good way to do so. If anyone can point me to a good resource I would appreciate it. I have actually added video just by simply linking to the video file, but it takes too long to load when done that way.

I've been told from a few people that I need to use flash for my videos? Thanks again for your help.

While browsing around I noticed that adobe.com have dropdown menu over flash.

I dont have safari to test if there are any issues. But this might be a handy tip if you can take a look around at their code.

let us know how you go.

Found this.

"Unfortunately, there is a bug in Safari's Flash Player implementation. I know that a Macromedia engineer had filed a bug report on my behalf last year, but it apparently has not been acted on. Adobe used to have a workaround where they subbed a staitc JPEG for a Flash movie, but apparently they became frustrated and are just letting Safari flash away"

I guess it looks like there might not be any sort of fix yet, Im sure if I keep digging I will find a hack that you can use.

I don't use Safari but from what I have read and posted above the wmode does not work in it. I don't know why as I haven't messed with it. I will trying browsing around and see if I can't find a better reason why.

Hi guys, im using suckerfish drop downs, and have tried wmode, z-indexing for the menu, z-indexing for the swf, and i still have the same rubbish result in safari, here is an example -

Use suckerfish dropdowns

I have read on other sites though that wmode doesn't work with Safari. I haven't tested this myself as I don't have access to Safari so I can't say for sure, but I've seen it mentioned on several sites.

However, thats the method that I use.
