Even though the text is unselectable if its present in the source code of the page, then the search spiders will see it and index it.

Thanks I will forward your advice. My last question is you stated that even though the text is unselectable it is still present in the code but does this reduce the googlebots ability to read or hinder it in any way. My goal is to keep working on SEO to get my site up there. The goal is to come up when searching for painters in bloomington normal. I wonder how long it will take for us to rise up in the rankings. Any other suggestions are more than welcome.

DJ no need to stress, even though your text is unselectable, it is still present in the source code and will get spidered by googlebot etc.

I would suggest that the menu links in the header should be text rather than images, these are keyword rich and at the top of the page. Also shorten the length of your title.

My site DJsPaintingInc.com was recently designed but you can not highlight the text or any part of the site. I have been told this will hurt ALOT with ranking and searches. They claim it is because of the way I wanted the site designed in terms of appearance. Please Please tell me your thoughts on this and how it will impact my site.
My old site had the same issue so I had told this company it could not be that way here. Am I worrying too much or can you really not have a the appearance I desire without sacrafice of SEO. Please any input is apprecaited as I am stressed.
