Adobe releases apollo

      Apollo is the code name for a cross-operating system runtime being developed by Adobe that allows developers to leverage their existing web development skills (Flash, Flex, HTML, JavaScript, Ajax) to build and deploy rich Internet applications (RIAs) to the desktop.

      It should be noted that currently Apollo is an alpha release. So, if your one that doesn't care much for 'testing' software then you might need to hold back on checking it out just yet. There are several bugs and problems with it. This is also a quote from the current release notes; "The Alpha 1 release of Apollo has not been optimized for performance or memory usage.". So, this isn't a stable release or a beta release.
