I am working with InDesign to produce a training manual that contains recipe cards of multiple products. Some method sections are duplicated on every page, and as the manual progresses the content as been revised. This creates a lot of backtracking to ensure all the previously build cards are the same. I am about to begin a new updating phase of the manual I was considering the use of XML as a method to edit the duplicated content more efficiently. Does anyone have any experience building training manuals, I would appreciate any ideas regarding the handling of this type of project.
